As we look at the world around us we can be overcome with a sense of uncertainty, however scripture tells us that Jesus' return is most certainly... certain. Using parables and taking a look back to Noah, Jesus is urging his disciples to be vigilant and ready for His triumphant return. We must be prepared, for His coming will be sudden, and upon His return, may Jesus find us living as His faithful servants.

Jesus tells his disciples a parable to help them to understand how they can be prepared for his return. We are called to use our gifts as a reflection of God’s character that we can bring him glory. As we eagerly anticipate his return, we are called to be faithful servants with what God has entrusted to us.
