Readiness & Wisdom As Our Lord Returns

Agassiz Campus

May 26, 2024 • Dr. Jorge Salazar • Matthew 25:1–13

Jesus used the analogy of a thief who enters the home when no one expects, he used the analogy of two servants, one who was found working and being responsible and one who was irresponsible and a hypocrite, the good servant was rewarded and the irresponsible was severely punished. In Jesus’ next breath we read the parable of the ten virgins, a parable connected to the second coming of our Lord, a parable that insists on the readiness and preparedness of the children of God as we await the return of our King.

The Lord has important things to tell us that will revolutionize how we live the rest of our days on this side of eternity and the scope we’ll have on our own walk with Christ will be a lot different.
