Suffering for the Kingdom's Sake

The fifth message in our winter 2020 series at Centerpoint Church.

“All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” (I Timothy 4:12) Suffering for Christ’s Kingdom should be considered a privilege. And it is inevitable for the serious servant of God. We need to embrace suffering and seek to live a life of faith. Even as Jesus suffered personal loss, he still selflessly fed and healed people.

May 3rd Service • The Return of the King

Jesus ascended into heaven. Why? So that the Holy Spirit would come. And the Kingdom would grow spiritually. But one day soon Jesus will return physically and establish a perfect Kingdom here on earth. Are we looking forward to that day? Do we trust him with our future? Is our hope in his rule? No matter what the world throws at us, Jesus is greater.

April 26th Service • The Message of the King

What is the message of the King? To seek and save the lost. The message of the Kingdom is that there's GOOD NEWS! Jesus is alive and he has promised us eternal life. Faith and trust in him are the entrance requirements for the best gift we could ever imagine.

March 29th Service • The Heart of the King

March 29, 2020

Jesus was jealous for the glory of God. He healed from a heart of compassion, but even more so from a desire to demonstrate the presence and power of God. Jesus’ anger at the temple workers demonstrated his passion. His zeal was for the Father. This is the same heartbeat that each child of God should share.
