Do you believe that an action can be both right and wrong? Can we gain power through surrender? Are we both separate and one?
These are the kinds of questions and values that lead us into the next tier of the Spiral Dynamics model as we look at what is emerging as we wrap up our series.

After thousands of years of constant violence and death, our desire for peace brought forth the value of law and order the main function of the blue level.
The blue level develops a desire for order and stability. It values righteous living and our newly forming egos now expand to include feeling of guilt and unworthiness. We move back to valuing the collective and willingness for some self-sacrifice as a part of the divine plan.

Spiral Dynamics offers us a perspective of our human evolution using different value systems and colors to support our understanding.
It begins with the premise that people and cultures share values and those values help determine patterns of growth in both healthy and unhealthy expressions of the values.
Each new level seems to arise to “solve the problems” created by the limitations or excesses of the value system before it.
Colors of the Bible

Spiral Dynamics (SD) is a model of the evolutionary development of individuals, organizations, and societies. Spiral Dynamics describes how value systems and worldviews emerge from the interaction of "life conditions" and the mind's capacities. The emphasis on life conditions as essential to the progression through value systems leads to the view that no level is inherently positive or negative, but rather is a response to the local environment. Each distinct set of values is developed as a response to solving the problems of the previous system.
In this series, we will look at the separate writings of the Bible in light of when they were written, to see the change and evolution in the Bible. Join us as we see the Bible in a new light, one that will shine light on your own spiritual evolution.
