Step 4 - Upfront Thanks

March 27, 2022 • Rev. Linda Taylor

It is common courtesy to give thanks after the fact, we have been taught that from a very young age but this kind of thanks has no effect on the life of spirit.

It a similar way, Jesus reminds us that there is no great spiritual reward in loving only those who love us first – we are to love pro-actively, even towards our enemies.

Great expectations, along with a perpetually grateful heart for what good is to come, opens more channels of possibilities.

Step 6

To have a complete healing, we must drop the old role or as I like to think of it – turn the page – bookmark a new page – a new way of thinking – a new story. In some ways, this is the most difficult and necessary step. Not only do we need to make permanent changes within us, others around us unconsciously are vested in keeping us tightly bound in our old role. So in this final step, we are called to be vigilant with our own thoughts and actions. And just as important, to be aware of and check the crowd around us.

Step 5 - A Strong Command

When we are calling forth a new vision, a new way of life, a healing etc. we must also infuse our words with as much power and heartfelt emotion as we possibly can. A laser focused statement that is stated with complete confidence (ie: Lazarus come out!).

Step 3 - Great Expectations

As we continue looking at the blueprint for 'Making the Impossible Possible,' we explore the statement Jesus makes when those arguing with him about removing the stone... "Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the Glory of God?" And the third step – Great Expectations. Expectations have everything to do with faith and belief!
