For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened... Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will boy no means pass away till all these things take place. Matthew 24:21-22,34.

Many of our modern prophecy preachers foresee the ‘great tribulation’ as a fearful future event that we can only escape by being included in the rapture of the church. They completely ignore the fact that all of Jesus’ prophecies in Matthew 24 were fulfilled 2000 years ago!
