Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So, you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near — at the doors! Truly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away until all these things take place. Matthew 24:32-34

Somehow, back in the 70’s, many popular prophecy preachers equated the blooming of the fig tree in Matthew 24 with the re-formation of Israel as a nation in 1948. From there, they calculated the rapture of the church would take place around 1988 (figuring 40 years as a ‘generation’). When that didn’t happen, they recalculated the rapture to occur by 2018 (figuring 70 years as a ‘generation’).

When that didn’t happen…No wonder multitudes of American Christians are muddled in ‘Last Days Madness’!

We hope you can be with us this weekend as Pastor Ray clears up the confusion about “The Fig Tree Generation”.
