Outward Manifestation Matthew 5:20 Unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees you shall not enter the kingdom of Heaven The common people thought only the Scribes and Pharisees were holy and were going to heaven The beatitudes describe true righteousness and Christian attitudes and the inward condition of the born again believer 5:13 You are the salt of the earth but if the salt loses its flavor how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men Our witness/testimony is to give people a good taste of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 5:14 You are the light of the world a city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven Like a lighthouse we are to help people see their way to Jesus

It Is Happening! Matthew 11:1-6 Repent so that we can be filled Respond to the move of Holy Spirit Reach the lost. We have one job.....winning souls. R #1- Repentance :Colossians 3:4-14 Sins of the heart : Jealousy, Envy, Bitterness, Hatred, Pride, Unforgiveness..... Sins of the heart can be sneaky and we need to be on guard to notice them and get them out. R #2- Respond :1 Samuel 3:4-10 God chose to speak to use Samuel for two reasons: 1- because Samuel was humble and ready 2- because Samuel was quick to respond to the Lord the second He moved. To receive from the Lord we need to be humble and ready at all times. R #3- Reach Acts 1:6-7 When there is a spirit of expectancy in the body of Christ- GOD MOVES

Religion is a system of rituals and good works through which men try to earn salvation and draw attention to themselves Religion focuses on the outside not the inside Religion destroys hope: ultimately we know we cannot make it upon our own work Religion glorifies man and not God When we glorify man we repel people When we glorify Jesus we attract people We are to be in the world but not of it The world has nothing to offer nothing that will satisfy If you are a Christian you will be noticed there will be opposition of some kind

Miracles Wanted Do you want to be Healed? God has a miracle, do you want it? Jesus asked the Question because there were things that this man was not willing to give up in order to receive his miracle Check your surroundings It’s hard to see or receive our miracle when we spend all of our time around people who don’t see Gods goodness and perfect will You may not be able to control your situation but you can control the people you call friends Fear and doubt, insecurities will give you the impression a miracle is not in store for you. We cant expect the Lord to move in our lives if we are full of excuses We need to exercise our faith All miracles come in the right time (Gods Time)

A Call To Repentance v12 - Now - today is the day to be saved and repent Return to me - means to turn around a 180 degree turn *With all of your heart - this is a heart change - Matt 27:3 Not just an emotional change or response Fruit of repentance - Matthew 3:1-8 (v8) v13 - rend - means to tear It speaks of enlarging your eyes to see clearly and what is wrong with you v13 - the Lord relents The Lord is eager to forgive, bless and be gentle The Lord does not want to bring His judgment, but He will v14 - if we repent and turn to the Lord, the Lord will prosper and bless us Then give back to the Lord BLESSING #2 - SATISFACTION vs19,26 BLESSING #3 - YOU WILL BE A GOOD WITNESS & TESTIMONY FOR THE LORD verse 19 BLESSING #4 - THE LORD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR ENEMIES v20
