Haggai 'Let It Rain' Verse 9- Israel went into captivity and returned home They did not put the Lord first. They did not rebuild the temple vs9-11 - Haggai says 2 Things would happen if Israel did not put the Lord first. (1) He will blow away Israels' blessings The Lord wants to bless His people, but disobedience causes a God reaction The problem is never the Lord, but our disobedience to His Word and voice (2) It will not Rain v10 - there would not be an open heaven v11 - there will be a drought and no rain at all Why do we need spiritual rain? (1) Because of the condition of our nation (2) Because of the condition of the body of Christ in general (3) Because we do not have much time left The return of the Lord is going to happen quickly

1 Peter 1:13 Take Action The church at this time was suffering great trials, but Peter encourages them to move forward and take action. 3 Ways to take action to continue to move forward in your christianity (1.) We must always think clearly - v13 We all think 50,000-60,000 thoughts every day There are thoughts from the Lord - they go along with the Bible There are thoughts from the enemy and flesh Remember Several Things: God thoughts are the only thoughts that will remain with you, grow and become stronger Enemy and flesh thoughts vanish. God thoughts stay with us. We cannot stop any thoughts from entering our minds, but you can stop them from entering into your heart and believing them Ephesian 6:16...John 13:2 - fiery darts of the enemy Wrong thoughts do not have to become sinful actions Every believer receives sinful thoughts Nothing is wrong with the believer who thinks wrong thoughts Do not sin Resist, replace and reveal = victory Follow God thoughts
