Jesus shows the Scribes and others how big He is by asking the question about David's confusing Psalm 110:1 "The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” Jesus shows them how much bigger He is!

Definitions: Civil Law The civil law spoke into the people as a nation. This is how you are to conduct yourself in His kingdom. Religious Law The religious law spoke into the worship of God’s people. Moral Law God rescued the nation of Israel from Egypt and the moral law is the way in which God rescues His people from sin. POINTS: 1. Love God John 15:13 2. Mark 12:18-27

Jesus encounters a group of Sadducees who do not believe in the Resurrection, or crossing over into heaven, after death. They only believe what is written in the Pentateuch (first 5 books of the Bible). As such, they had assumed there was no resurrection. Pastor Pete tells us how Jesus showed them they were wrong.
