David as king of Judah & Israel wanted God to be focal point of nation in Jerusalem. He brought the Ark of God to Jerusalem to make God the center of life. For us to put God first we should
1) Focus on Personal Growth
2) Establish Relationships
3) Develop Teaching
4) Develop Opportunities to Serve. However,

David shows how to wreck a marriage:
1) (David) allowed culture, not scripture, to define the marriage
2) (They) made compromises in their relationship with God
3) (Michal) had unrealistic expectations.
