In fact, that’s the name Pastor Lloyd has given to this mini series on the beatitudes - “Characteristics of the Kingdom Minded”. Today and tomorrow, we’ll cover Matthew five, verses four through six.

They were expecting a messiah, and indeed, Jesus had come, but some people thought John himself was their messiah.
