There is quite a debate going on in our country today concerning sexual sin. Actually, the debate is whether sex outside of marriage is even worthy of being called sin. Abraham had been through quite a bit. Finding out he and his wife could not have children. Fathering a child with a handmaiden. Then finding out that God would indeed give him a son, named Isaac. I don’t know how you would describe your relationship with God, but God and Abraham were friends. That’s what I call a worthy goal!
