In Exodus chapter thirteen we see a great example of God’s protective nature for His people. It is the same protective love you and I can experience today. We may not need deliverance from slavery in a physical sense, but we certainly need deliverance from the slavery of sin.

The Blood of the Lamb - Part 2
July 27, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 12:1—13:16
We’ve been making our way through the Book of Exodus, where we’ve been discovering the meanings behind some of the Jewish traditions of the Old Testament. You may be asking yourself what all this has to do with being a Christian in the twenty-first century. As we’re about to see on today’s broadcast, it’s a whole lot more relevant to today than you may think.
The Blood of the Lamb - Part 1
July 26, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 12:1—13:16
Without a doubt the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the defining moment in human history, because our redemption from sin, and our road to Heaven was paved by that one event. This miraculous event was foretold many times in the Old Testament, including in Exodus. Open your Bible with us to Exodus chapter twelve as we join Pastor Lloyd
No Compromise - Part 2
July 25, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 10—11
As we return to our study in Exodus, we’ll again look at the trials and tribulations of Pharaoh. I hate to keep knocking a guy when he’s down, but Pharaoh is a special case. What a knuckle head this guy was! In the wake of untold death and destruction because of his hard hearted attitude - he still refuses to acknowledge God’s power and Holiness. Talk about a guy stuck in denial-mode!
No Compromise - Part 1
July 24, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 10—11
Do you know anyone you’d describe as “hardheaded”? Maybe you might just fit that description yourself! In God’s word, we see example after example of hardheaded people, and without exception, this attitude leads to problems - and sometimes disaster. Pharaoh was a guy with a hard head and hard heart and we see the consequences of his bad attitude in Exodus chapters ten and eleven.
Devastation by Degrees - Part 2
July 23, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 8—9
We’ve seen Moses confronting Pharoah, we’ve seen Pharoah hardening his heart toward God, and today, we’ll see what happens when God sends plagues upon the earth. I think you’ll agree after hearing today’s message that God is true to His word, and He doesn’t like being disrespected! Join us now, if you would, in Exodus eight, verse twenty nine.

Devastation by Degrees - Part 1

When someone turns their heart toward God, it’s cause for rejoicing. But, that’s not always the case, is it? What happens when someone hardens their heart toward God? That’s exactly what happened to Pharoah and we’ll discuss it on today’s edition of Bridging the Gap. Here’s pastor Lloyd now to get us started, in Exodus chapter eight.
Like God before Pharaoh - Part 2
July 19, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 6:14—7:25
As we study chapter seven of Exodus we observe an individual who refused to submit to God, in spite of the great consequences. In Christian circles, we refer to this as a hard heart, and certainly Pharaoh had one. As we look at this stubborn man from long ago, we’d do well to see if there is any resemblance to our very own heart.
Like God before Pharaoh - Part 1
July 18, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 6:14—7:25
Today on Bridging the Gap, Pastor Lloyd brings us a study in Exodus chapters six and seven, as we look at another battle going on - the battle for deliverance by Moses and the people of Israel. It’s here that we see the power of God displayed in the form of Plagues. And oh boy, are these plagues bad!
Picking Up Pieces from a Faltering Faith - Part 2
July 17, 2018 • Pastor Lloyd Pulley • Exodus 5:1—6:13
Moses had his hands full as he sought to deliver his people out of Egypt, and at the same time, we have our hands full as we seek deliverance from our sin. Both battles need God’s hand to be successful. We really can’t do it alone. That’s a lesson everyone eventually learns, although some take a lot longer to figure it out than others!
