He reviews Old Testament prophecy about the nation of Israel and the last days because some would say that current events indicate the Lord’s imminent return. The thought of the coming again of Jesus is thrilling, but wrong interpretations of the Word can often lead to wrong attitudes. We can forget that real people are being affected by crises. Crisis can lead to renewal and revival, so let’s make sure we are doing all we can to get the Gospel out to those who are suffering amidst the turmoil.
