In this message, Cheryl Brodersen gave meaning to the suffering we face as believers, and especially as those in the front lines of serving God. There is warfare and sacrifice involved in being a frontliner in this cosmic battle! But we have the hope of glory that we learn about in the Book of Colossians—Christ, the Messiah, lives in us! We were encouraged to recognize the power and hope we have through Jesus alone, and were challenged in what our response should be to this amazing gift and calling.

Jesus Is Preeminent!

October 25, 2024 • Colossians 1:13–18

In this message, Keilah Gaviria highlighted the truth and significance of who Jesus is, and the amazing freedom that we have because of Him. We learned that Paul began this first chapter of Colossians by focusing on the supremacy of Jesus rather than correction of church doctrine. As we follow Paul’s example of focusing on Jesus and making Him preeminent in our lives, we also will see that everything else will come into perspective and ultimately be held together.
