Mark 1:14-20

Jesus Begins Preaching and Proclaiming the Good News

June 17, 2018 • Pastor Ray Bollas

In this passage, Jesus begins preaching and proclaiming the Good News. He will give very clear directions on how to get to heaven, to enter into the kingdom of God, to be forgiven of sin and to have new life. And the Good News is still good news today regardless how long ago you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for each day, today being one of them, you can receive the good news again, not for salvation, but restoration, that as you pick up the spots and soils of this world, we have the good news that we can be cleansed and forgiven, made white as snow, and walk in beautiful and perfect harmony with our heavenly Father. How glorious, as His mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness.

Mark 1:1-11

June 3, 2018 • Pastor Ray Bollas

For 400 years the Nation of Israel sat in silence. God had not sent them a prophet to speak to them since Malachi, and for 400 years, the people sat in silence. Then with a thunder, a man comes on the scene, John the Baptist and cries out to the people, prepare ye the way of the Lord……. The King is Coming! And the King is none other than God’s Son, and God Himself. Calvary Chapel Anne Arundel | Pastor Ray Bollas

Mark 1: 12-13

June 10, 2018 • Pastor Ray Bollas

In this teaching, we will cover just two verses, Mark 1:12-13; Jesus’ wilderness testing. We joke, but it so true, that we seem to be in a trial, or coming out of a trial, or going into a trial. Well I decided to slow down to just two verses today so we can talk about this. We can so often wonder why am going through this trial, why now, where’s God, when will this ever end, and Lord what are You doing? So an outline for our study, and our remembrance, that in every trial, there is a Timing, a Revealing, an Instructing, an Audience, and Loving. T-R-I-A-L.
