Matthew 11:20-27 In chapters 1-4 we saw the person of Jesus Christ revealed (His birth and baptism), then chapter 5-7 we saw His principles recorded (the Sermon on the Mount), and then in chapters 8-11 we saw His power released (as He performed miracles and sends His disciples out to do the same). Now in chapter 11 we begin to see a shift in Jesus’ ministry, as we begin to read about resistance, challenges, and attacks that will be brought against Him and upon His followers.

Continuing on in Jesus being the Lord of the Sabbath (Rest), the religious leaders question Jesus about healing on the Sabbath, knowing that He would, so they might accuse Him. They knew Jesus wouldn't walk past the person in need, because they knew the heart of Jesus... He can't walk past the person who is in need. So too today, Jesus will come to you today to meet you personally, so come join Him tonight.
