Sin. Wrath. Punishment. Judgement. Damnation.
Perhaps the biggest reason people skip over the prophets is because the writings are filled with messages of woe and God's judgement. Zephaniah is no exception, as it contains some of the harshest language found anywhere in the Bible. But did you know that this same book teaches us that God delights in you? When he thinks of you, he dances! He sings! He rejoices!
