The Great Message of Hope

Isaiah spoke into the life of ancient Israel at a time when they had openly rejected God's offer of salvation. This brought ruin and misery, but Isaiah was also there to remind them that God never stops offering His hand of forgiveness and love.

Our vision is to be a group of people who inspire others to become followers of Jesus, and to be a place where they can connect with others, grow in their faith, and launch into service. Sin. Wrath. Punishment. Judgement. Damnation. Perhaps the biggest reason people skip over the prophets is because the writings are filled with messages of woe and God's judgement. Zephaniah is no exception, as it contains some of the harshest language found anywhere in the Bible. But did you know that this same book teaches us that God delights in you? When he thinks of you, he dances! He sings! He rejoices!
False Religion Is Self-Harm

God longs for us to love Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. He created us to be most satisfied through that love. So when we let other loves overtake our love of Him, it corrodes our satisfaction in Him. Israel was worshiping other gods, and in Jeremiah 7 the Lord reveals some harsh judgments on them; proclaiming that religious activity won't save them, rather, only a heart reformation would lead to their salvation.
