Seeking A Savior

Advent 2020

Following Jesus in an Avalanche

January 3, 2021 • Zakk Uhler

In the passage this Sunday, Jesus teaches, "‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you." What does this means and how does it impact our faith today? Sometimes the culture in which we live is in line with God's Word, other times it seems to be completely at odds with it. Thus, we will be looking into how to discern culture using the Word of God and how to lovingly respond to culture in a way that honors our Savior. We'll see you there.

Part 4 | The Magi Epiphany

December 20, 2020 • Pastor Marty

The Magi journeyed to Bethlehem because they were convinced that a King had been born to the Jews. Just like the shepherds before them, they came and bowed before Jesus in wonder. How about you and I? What set of circumstances would it take for people like you and I to willingly come and joyfully bow in worship of Jesus? This Sunday, four days prior to our celebration of Jesus Christ's birth, let us consider this together.

This week Pastor Travis teaches on the theme of love. “God so loved the world that he sent his son into the world.” The story of the angels coming to the shepherds in the middle of the night would radically change their life as they encountered their Savior for the first time. Join us as we continue to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The Hope Given By the Prophets (Replay)

November 29, 2020 • Pastor Marty

The Law, Prophets and Wisdom Poetry we call the Old Testament was very well known by most Jewish people for hundreds of years before Jesus' birth. They were very aware of the prophecies that appear through-out the scriptures that speak of One who will come, who would be a deliverer greater than Moses and a king greater than David. His name would be Immanuel (God with us). Imagine Joseph's surprise when the Angel of the Lord told him that Mary's pregnancy would fulfill the beloved prophecy of Isaiah.
