Part 4 | The Magi Epiphany

The Magi journeyed to Bethlehem because they were convinced that a King had been born to the Jews. Just like the shepherds before them, they came and bowed before Jesus in wonder. How about you and I? What set of circumstances would it take for people like you and I to willingly come and joyfully bow in worship of Jesus? This Sunday, four days prior to our celebration of Jesus Christ's birth, let us consider this together.

In the passage this Sunday, Jesus teaches, "‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you." What does this means and how does it impact our faith today? Sometimes the culture in which we live is in line with God's Word, other times it seems to be completely at odds with it. Thus, we will be looking into how to discern culture using the Word of God and how to lovingly respond to culture in a way that honors our Savior. We'll see you there.
