Daniel 10:10-21

Video

December 20, 2020 • Dr. Ken Lang

We live in a world with secular thinking. They can't
conceive of a world that is not visible to the eyes. "I will
believe it when I see it!" Yet, there is a spiritual world
beyond our ability to perceive with our eyes that is real.
Paul said, "We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the
cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." (
Ephesians 6:12)
Our conflict is not normally with each other, but the
spiritual forces behind the scenes. May God help us battle
the real enemy instead of each other. Pastor Ken

Sacrifice comes at a cost - love is not cheap. Charles Spurgeon said, "The exercise of benevolence is joy to loving hearts: the more pain it costs, the more joy it is. Kind actions make us happy, and in such joy we find communion with the great heart of Jesus."

What gives you hope? | 3-31-24 | Easter 2024

March 31, 2024 • Dr. Ken Lang • 1 Peter 1:3

Our world needs hope - real hope. Not the kind of hope that comes from our government. Dostoevsky said, "To live without hope is to cease to live." Beloved, that hope we need can only come from Christ. We will overcome because he has overcome. He is risen!!!

John Donne wrote the poem, "No Man Is An Island." It first stanza goes, "No man is an island, Entire of itself; Every man is a piece of the continent, A part of the main. In other words, we belong to each other - we are interconnected like a body." "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it" (1 Corinthians 12:27)
