John Donne wrote the poem, "No Man Is An Island." It first stanza goes, "No man is an island, Entire of itself; Every man is a piece of the continent, A part of the main. In other words, we belong to each other - we are interconnected like a body." "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it" (1 Corinthians 12:27)
