Ezekiel 20-21

October 5, 2016 • Raul Ries

Many people are familiar with the great Exodus of the Children of Israel out of Egypt. Few, however, seem to realize just how close the Israelite's came to being judged by God for their idolatry while still in Egypt. God brought them out—but He says, “I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles.” This pattern continued through the wilderness, in the Promised Land and all the way to Babylonian captivity. If we do not glorify Him by obeying His commandments, we must glorify Him by submitting to His chastening.
