Ezekiel 29-31

October 26, 2016 • Raul Ries

These chapters focus on Egypt, the nation the Jews had been trusting in instead of the Lord. This is one of the many reasons God was using Nebuchadnezzar to judge Judah in captivity. Pharaoh was calling himself a god and thinking he was indestructible while corrupting all of his allies with his idolatry. God reveals He will crush Pharaoh, all of Egypt and they would never be a world power again. He will do this to one monumental end—that the nations may know He is Lord. Is our nation exempt from all this?
