Ezekiel 10-12

September 7, 2016 • Raul Ries

God’s presence leaves the temple because He will not share His glory with idols. As judgment is coming, the glory of the Lord officially departed. With the Jerusalem visions over, Ezekiel gives two more action sermons to those around him who wrongly believe their captivity will end soon. Acting out the coming departure of Jerusalem into captivity by morning & King Zedekiah’s futile effort to escape the hand of Nebuchadnezzar by night—thus warning his fellow captives they are going to be in Babylon for years to come.
