Have you ever noticed how much something like smoking can affect every aspect of someone’s life? They always have to be able to step outside every few minutes. Not only does it impact their ability to socialize and be a part of things, but everything they have smells like smoke, there’s no escaping it! Today Pastor Dan explains how your sinful nature is much like smoking, it affects everything… even your prayer life. That is why you must constantly atone for, or repent of, your sin.

Have you ever caught someone doing something they shouldn’t? Maybe they were stealing from you or someone you know, or in some way harming you or someone else. Were you able to forgive them? Even if you said you did, did you really? In today’s message, Pastor Dan explains how no matter what you do against God, He will always forgive you without question. That doesn’t mean you can go around sinning and committing atrocities with no repercussions, God will forgive, but He also punishes.

Have you ever made a mistake at work and then had to swallow your pride and ask your boss for a second chance? There may have been a time when you asked and didn’t get one. How many times have you asked God for a second, third, fourth… tenth chance? He must’ve given it to you or you wouldn’t have the opportunity to ask for another. In today’s message, Pastor Dan explains how even when the Israelites messed up and didn’t ask for another chance, God extended one to them!

There are people who seem to never get enough of God’s word or His presence. They live their lives with a committed focus on serving Him and knowing Him. In today’s message, Pastor Dan reminds us of Joshua, who did not want to leave the presence of God. He says most people do not have a desire to seek God or to enjoy His presence, but Joshua did. We can be as close to God as we desire. The depth and closeness of the relationship we have with God is up to us. We have unlimited riches in Christ.
