The Author and the Finisher of Your Faith!

A.) What does this statement mean & how should you apply this truth to your life?

1. First, the word “author” = means God is the originator & initiator of your faith. How???

a. You wouldn’t be a believer today, if He had not initiated loving & pursing you.

2. The word “finisher” = means God perfects & completes your faith.  How???

a. He perfects your faith by teaching you in the Word.

b. He perfects you through testing your faith.

c. He perfects you through obedience to His Word.

d. He perfects your faith as you choose to come to Him in prayer.

e. He does all this perfection by the Holy Spirit’s work inside you to conform you.
