What does the Bible say about work? Does it tell us that work is a necessary evil that we must do so that we can make money to support our lifestyles? Does it teach that our worth is tied to our position at work, or that there are more and less important jobs? No. The Bible shows us that as we work, we model God, we bring beauty to His creation, and we experience freedom and rest.

Sometimes, it is tempting to compartmentalize our faith and work into separate categories of the sacred and secular. The Gospel corrects us, for as far as the curse is found, the Resurrection reaches farther. Throughout this series, the way that the Resurrection affects our work has been a part of each sermon; yet it is important to dwell on this point further, drawing some very practical conclusions.
