When it comes to reconciling God’s sovereignty with man’s prayers, the debate is longstanding. Some argue that, because God has predetermined all things as they are, prayer is ultimately pointless. Others argue that, because God is supposedly limited in His knowledge, prayer is persuasive (i.e. God will respond in ways that He otherwise might not). So how does God’s sovereignty and immutability relate to man’s prayers and supplication? Can the two coexist?
In this sermon series, Pastor Ronald H. Gann examines the ways and means of talking to God, and the power behind it.
