From a thankless Israel (who muttered against God ten times during the wilderness wanderings) all the way to the ungrateful disciples (who bemoaned that they had given up everything to follow Jesus), the sin of ingratitude is not in short supply in the Bible. As believers, then, we must therefore train ourselves to show thanks, to give thanks, to be filled with thanksgiving. Without being a thankful disciple of Jesus, we won’t be a pleasing disciple to Jesus.

There’s more to being a believer than carrying a name. An authentic Christian ought to look and behave like the Christ they serve.
