“I John ” I John teaches us how to have fellowship with God and God’s people, how to have victory over sin, how to practice righteousness, to warn believers abut false teachers, and the promise of assurance of eternal life to those who truly believe. As believers, we are born of God. John refers to us as “little children.” As true children of God, we do God’s will, we love the brethren, and we believe the truth of the Scriptures.
