When you think about Christmas, what is the song that is the soundtrack for this season of your life? Maybe it’s Joy to the World, O Holy Night, or White Christmas. But have you ever thought about the very first Christmas song that was ever sung?
A lot of us would probably think it's Hark! The Herald Angels Sing from Luke 2:14. But that wasn't the first Christmas song. The first Christmas song actually came nine months before that – it was Mary's song.
This time of year isn’t the same for everyone. There are many who struggle with the holidays and many who may be coming out of a season of suffering. Today on Fearless, I’m taking a look at Mary’s story. I hope it is a reminder that, despite what we have going on, we are to be like Mary and praise God despite our worldly circumstances.

Don’t Let Yesterday’s Nostalgia Rob You of Today’s Blessings (Ep. 148)
Cissie Graham Lynch, Will Graham
Every family and community has their own traditions and our family is no different. From Christmas traditions to everyday habits, we have built things that our family holds so dear. But this year I have been really thinking about when traditions can become a distraction from our ultimate purpose - to know and be known by God.
How do we create an environment that builds traditions that move us closer to God? How do we avoid making the “Good ‘Ole Days” into an idol that robs us of the blessings that God has for us in the present? On today’s episode of Fearless I am joined by my brother, Wil Graham, to talk about traditions.

The Mistake I Made at My Wedding (Ep. 147)
Cissie Graham Lynch, Casey Helmick, Julie Lyles Carr
Many years ago I had a decision to make – should I invite kids to my wedding or not? Brides can have such a vision for how they want their big day to go but do we allow this “picture perfect” dream to get in the way of showing kids the beauty of weddings and marriage? Bigger than this one day, do Christians cut children out of critical moments that can show them what we really hold dear? On today’s episode I bring on a few behind-the-scenes friends to help me have a discussion about how we should “walk the talk” of what we believe as Christians.

The Election: Don’t Be Anxious, the Battle is God’s (Ep. 146)
Cissie Graham Lynch
It’s hard to believe Election Day is tomorrow. No matter which side of the aisle you’re on, we can be sure there is a battle still in front of us – but the battle ahead is not ours, it’s God’s. We need to remember to trust God. We don’t know what the results of the election will be, but God does and we can trust Him with tomorrow. We do not have to live in fear or with anxious hearts; we can stand in strength because we know who holds our future.
Today on Fearless, I want you to be encouraged that we all can live fearlessly and confidently in the hope of Jesus Christ.

Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | It’s Not Too Late For Freedom of Faith i
Cissie Graham Lynch
Many people think we shouldn’t talk about religion and politics. But one of the most essential rights we have as Americans is the right to free exercise of religion. In fact, it was so important to the founding fathers that they included it in the first sentence of the Bill of Rights. This has been a beacon of hope to those in other countries where people are persecuted for their religion. Yet, so many in our country want to take those rights away – claiming separation of church and state.
Today, on the #FearlessPodcast I’m taking a look at the stories of people in the U.S. who have faced persecution and not backed down. My grandfather, Billy Graham, once said, “Let us stand for political freedom, moral freedom, religious freedom, and all the rights of all Americans, and let's never give in to those who would attempt to take it from us.” We pray that a new generation of believers will rise up to stand for the truth of God’s Word.

Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | The Madness of Mutilation – The False Ge
Cissie Graham Lynch
What would you do if your child decided to identify as a bird and thought they could fly off of the stairs? You would stop them to protect them from getting hurt. Yet today many children are being influenced to harm themselves through body mutilation and toxic, life-altering drugs because they ‘identify’ as something they are not – and parents, doctors and the government are not only complying, they are advocating for it. Before gender identity was ever a political issue, it was a Biblical issue. Genesis 1:27 says, “And God made man in His own likeness. In the likeness of God He made him. He made both male and female.” We don’t define our gender – only God can define who we are.
Today, on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m talking about what parents can do to protect our kids from this evil and serious issue when advocates of gender reassignment are coming after our children.

Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | To Stay or Not to Stay—The Public Educat
Cissie Graham Lynch, Josh Bidwell, B
Today on the #FearlessPodcast, my friends Bethany and Josh Bidwell are joining me to share the battle they faced with their children in the public school system in Oregon. While Oregon is known to be a hotbed for the progressive, secular agenda, the perverse and disturbing depravity their children were exposed to solidified their decision to move them to a private school.
Our education system is actively taking steps to indoctrinate our children – and they don’t want parents to know. Whether it’s Critical Race Theory, gender theory, or social Marxism, many anti-Biblical and anti-American ideologies which are destructive to the core traditional values many families have are shaping future generations.
While putting kids in private school or homeschooling isn’t always an option, being informed is the first step to making a change. Parents need to know what their kids are being taught – and who is teaching them – and take steps to make sure their voices and concerns are heard. Our greatest mission field is our kitchen table. And if we aren’t talking to our kids about these issues, the schools will. When parents demonstrate a Christ-like attitude and teach a foundation of Biblical truth to our children, the more they will understand God’s Word for themselves and be able to reject the lies of this world.

Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families—Loving People While Securing a Border
Cissie Graham Lynch
We lock the front door of our house to protect our family. If you wouldn’t let a person you don’t know walk into your home, why would you want someone who is unknown walking into the front door of our country? Immigration and national security are tough topics for many Christians. We are called to love our neighbor and take care of the widows and orphans. But we also called to submit to the governing authority. My dad has said the job of the church is to love people, but the job of the government is to provide careful security for its citizens. This is another issue that is not just political, but it’s Biblical. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m taking a look at what the Bible says about immigration and national security – one of the 8 topics our families are facing which are covered in my Election Prayer Guide. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families—Grocery and Gas Pump Economics
Cissie Graham Lynch
The election is just a few weeks away. If you’re like me and have been impacted by storms and life’s circumstances you may not have been paying as close attention to what’s going on with politics. But with so much at stake, we can’t afford to be uninformed or to sit on the sidelines. I recently released the Fearless Family Election Prayer Guide about the most urgent issues affecting the heart of our families. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m talking about an issue we can all relate to—the economy. You don’t have to be a financial expert to know about grocery and gas economics and how the essentials are hurting our wallets. When people cut back, giving to the church suffers. Right now we are seeing the impact churches and non-profits have when disaster strikes and government can’t save us. Join me as I take a look at why this isn’t just a political issue it’s a biblical issue. And get your free copy of the Fearless Family Election Prayer Guide at https://fearlessvotingguide.org/.

My Family is Facing Another Hurricane – God Is With Us
Cissie Graham Lynch
Almost exactly 2 years to the day of Hurricane Ian hitting our home in Ft. Myers, Florida, we are once again living through another devastating storm. My family recently moved back to my hometown of Boone, North Carolina – just one of the communities across the Southeast where Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage. Today, I’m sharing how my husband and I are talking about Hurricane Helene with my kids and how the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse are serving in the hardest-hit areas now recovering from Florida to Georgia and South Carolina, and across the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee.

People are Flawed. Candidates are Flawed. Our Vote Goes Beyond the Ballot Box.
Cissie Graham Lynch, Pam Pryor
We’ve all seen the chaos surrounding the elections, political parties, and candidates. It seems to get worse each and every day with no end in sight. What many don’t realize is that our vote goes beyond the halls of the White House, beyond the U.S. borders. Why do our vote and prayers matter when we go to the ballot box in November? My friend, Pam Pryor spent her entire career working in politics—she is who I go to anytime I have questions on politics, Washington, DC, or the American church—and I’ve asked her to join Fearless to talk about what’s at stake for us here and how it affects those around the world.

The Battlefield Has Arrived: How Proverbs Can Prepare Us (Ep. 136)
Cissie Gr, Gary Hamrick
As parents, we are in a battle for the souls of our children; as Christians, we are in a battle for the soul of our nation. This may sound dramatic, but every day we can see first-hand how our values are under attack – especially as we get closer to Election Day. Today, Pastor Gary Hamrick joins me for a new episode of the #FearlessPodcast to talk about how the fight is now at our front door. His church, Cornerstone Chapel is in the backyard of Washington DC, and they have seen members of their church face attacks because of their rights as parents, their belief to not embrace transgenderism, taking a stand for what’s being taught to their children, and more.
My grandfather, Billy Graham, often said that Psalms would teach you how to get along with God, And the Proverbs teach you how to get along with man. Pastor Gary shares how he has encouraged his church to navigate the battles they encounter with Proverbs as their guide, and he encourages us to do the same.

Chaos, Politics, & John Wayne (Ep. 135)
Cissie Graham Lynch
Today kicks off a new season of Fearless – a season filled with the good, the bad, and the ugly of issues we are facing in the world. This summer we have seen so many crazy things happen from the Olympics and assassination attempt of former President Trump to the economic crisis and in the U.S. and wars overseas. With chaos all around us, how should Christians respond?
I’ve always been a fan of John Wayne and the calm he brought to scenes filled with confusion and panic. One of his famous quotes was, "My hope and prayer is that everyone know and love our country for what she really is and what she stands for." It reminds me of another quote from my grandfather, Billy Graham, who said, “the secret strength of a nation is found in the faith that abides in the hearts and homes of the country.” My prayer is that this episode of the #FearlessPodcast helps you remember what’s important in these chaotic days.

Summer Encore Series—War in Israel Continues: Can Supernatural Hate be Overcome?
Cissie Graham Lynch, Samuel Smadja
Today, I’m continuing the summer encore series – re-releases of some of your favorite past episodes – with a special podcast that was recorded in Israel.
As Israel braces for a likely imminent attack by Iran and its allies, it’s important to know what’s going on in Israel and how the people that live there are affected by this ongoing conflict. Samuel Smadja, a friend of mine that lives in Israel, is a Messianic Jew who took time to explain how the Israeli people are doing and what it’s like to be in Israel during a time like this. The Middle East and Israel can be very complicated and I hope you’ll be encouraged to learn more about what’s going on and to pray, as Samuel said to “pray for the peace between the God of Israel and the people of Jerusalem.”
