• In culture today Christians are considered “haters.”
• In the first century Christians were considered “haters of the Roman empire” - same narrative.
• Moses reminded the people how they accused God of being a hater.
• They rebelled first, they accused second.
• God had given them commands they didn’t like, so their view of Him changed.
• When we rebel against God’s clearly defined boundaries then our view of God will change too.
• And those who serve God will be viewed the same way God is viewed - as a hater.
• We can’t concern ourselves with this label - we just be reverent to God and obey His commands.
