On Today's episode, I discuss Song of Songs 5:13 with my good friend, Marsha Rivers.
Song of Songs 5:13: "His cheeks are like gardens of spices; His lips are like lilies, perfumed with myrrh."
Cheeks: spiritual significance: the feelings or emotions of a person
Lips: words that are spoken
Lilies: love, purity, innocence, and resurrection life
Myrrh: symbolic of the cross
Song of Songs 5:13 reads, “ No one speaks words so anointed as this One- Words that both pierce and heal, words like lilies dripping with myrrh.” TPT
Anointing- breaks the yoke of bondage
In John 6:63-64; 66-68 Jesus said, “63 The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” 66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
Isaiah 46:3-4
“3 Listen to me, I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. 4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age.
I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.- and be your Savior
