NOTE: many of you know that Stew is stepping away from our ministry staff to serve in the community as a computer repair instructor with the Dayton Job Corps Center. Today is Stew's last official day as a part of our BCC staff. He and his wife Dawn will continue to call BCC their church home, and he will still serve as a vital part of our teaching team.

Because of that impact, I quote him often in my sermons and teaching. This book, which was published almost 25 years ago, greatly shaped my understanding of how we follow Jesus in our world today. He unpacks what the Kingdom of God looks like in real life and illustrates this by working his way through Jesus' sermon on the mount. * Fair warning: Willard is not a quick read. His style is understandable, but dense. But it is well worth the effort.
