Speaker Bios

Adam Laughton is a partner in the corporate group at Seyfarth Shaw. Adam’s practice focuses on the health care industry. Adam has served many types of providers within the health care space, including facilities, physicians and other professionals, and ancillary service providers such as pharmacies and laboratories. He also works with startup ventures, entrepreneurial individuals and groups, and provider joint ventures. Adam has worked on a wide array of regulatory and compliance matters, including HIPAA, Stark/Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, and state law issues. In addition, he often helps clients with corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and developing complex organizational and contractual structures for innovative ventures. In the last 10 years, Adam has handled dozens of transactions in the health care space, ranging in size up to $1 billion. He has been a part of the defense of multiple False Claims Act investigations in almost every sector of the health care industry.

Sai Pidatala is a Senior Counsel in the corporate group at Seyfarth Shaw. Sai is an international corporate and commercial lawyer with significant cross-border and technology transactional experience spanning industries, sectors, and continents. Sai is no stranger to leveraging technology in his own practice, using the firm's online suite of deal-monitoring tools to increase transparency with his clients and to make even the most complex or document-intensive transactions more accessible along each step of the way, up through and until closing. With more than a decade of experience practicing law, both on Wall Street and main street, and in the US and abroad, Sai is uniquely positioned to advise clients on domestic and cross-border corporate deals, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and technology transactions.
