Lesson 1

This lesson provides some definitions, an example of apologetics, a brief word about reason and faith and, finally, some reasons why we should practice apologetics and some “rules” for apologetics.

This session explores some philosophical arguments for the existence of God, and how we might use these as a bridge to connect doubting friends and family to Christ and his Word, whereby the Spirit works saving faith in hearts.

How can we know that the Bible is a reliable source of information about Jesus? In part the answer to that question depends on two others: 1.) Did the Bible authors know and claim that they were writing Spirit-inspired Scripture, and 2.) Are the information and details they include consistent with outside/verifiable evidence? Join us as Dr. Berg leads us in answering these questions.
