John grew up in Southern California. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 2011 and was then stationed in Yuma, AZ in 2012. He served as a sergeant and worked as a jet engine mechanic in the Marine Corps until 2016. He has a bachelor's in business management from Grand Canyon University and is currently working full-time for a company in Tempe. John is currently getting his masters in Christian Ministry at Grand Canyon University. John and his wife, Lexi, have been married since 2015. They have been serving as the Youth Pastors are Ascend Church since 2017.
