The Powerful Principle of One Accord

There is a quote that says, “There is power in numbers and there is power in unity.” When two or more people come together in unity with a purpose, it creates this powerful force which brings about a change that produces the outcome that was set forth. People that come together with the same mind or spirit have more influence and power than one person. There is strength in numbers. The Powerful Principle of One Accord is a key principle that the early church operated in. And this same principle needs to be understood and acted upon by the Body of Messiah. Unity among Believers, oneness in spirit, and having the mind of Messiah is conducive for the power of the Holy Spirit to be in full operation in the midst of the Body. Thus, giving us the ability to take more ground for the Kingdom of Elohim.

As we look around at the current state of the world that we live in, we see a lot of social tension and political unrest. What’s happening all around us is strategic. Tactics are being used as tools of manipulation to distract the masses from the reality of what is to come. These tactics are meant to distort the perceptions and the minds of those who are deceived into focusing on this world and the things that can be seen. During the time that Yeshua walked the earth, there was also a lot of social tension and political unrest. However, He didn’t allow the cares and the affairs of the world around Him, and what He would ultimately face, stop Him from doing the will of the Father. This included preparing His Disciples to “be ye ready”.

Becoming One With The Word by Minister Chequita Walker

Becoming one with the Word is foundational. The foundation of our faith is crucial because it serves as the base upon which we are continuously growing in obedience to the Word. Having a solid foundation built upon a thorough understanding of the Word, along with obedience, takes one from faith to faith: from babes drinking the milk of the Word, to maturity, being able to fully digest the meat of the Word. The Principle of becoming one with the Word also entails the Body of Messiah becoming one. However, before we as Believers can become one with each other, we must first become one with the Word.
