Searching the Scriptures Premiere: You Must Be Born Again Part 2

September 21, 2023 • Arthur Bailey

Many sermons have been taught about being born again and what it should mean to Believers today. But what does John 3:16 REALLY teach us within the context in which it is written? Like many other Biblical passages, this much-quoted verse is taught and preached in a manner that has become isolated from the passage context in which it was originally written.

What did Yeshua really teach in John 3 about being born again? Was Yeshua sharing a message of salvation with Nicodemus, and if so, why didn’t He offer an altar call for Nicodemus to give his heart to Jesus? Was John 3:16 a verse given to provoke people to make an emotional decision for Christ, or was it something else?

This two-part teaching series is an in-depth study of what it means to be Born Again. You will be surprised with what John 3:16 actually says in its proper context. This teaching will truly change your life!

Searching the Scriptures Premiere: The Day of Thanksgiving and the Bible

November 23, 2023 • Arthur Bailey

For many Americans, Thanksgiving is a special, beloved holiday for eating turkey - or a vegetarian main course option - and spending time with family and friends. Both the religious communities and non-religious communities alike celebrate the day of Thanksgiving which generates debate over its religious associations. However, for others, the celebration is deeply controversial. Thanksgiving has a contentious history that goes far beyond when the first feast was held. Like Columbus Day, the holiday is viewed by many to be a celebration of the conquest of Native Americans by colonists. Thanksgiving is considered by some to be a national day of mourning. Biblically, there are Holy Days that are to be observed which were given to us by YeHoVaH through Moses. If one chooses to celebrate Thanksgiving, do so knowing it is not Biblically mandated or required by YeHoVaH. Get the FACTS about Thanksgiving in this teaching.

Searching the Scriptures Premiere: He Called Us by Name Part 2

October 5, 2023 • Arthur Bailey

In this two-part series, we learn that many of us have been taught traditions, superstitions, and religious theology based on doctrines of denominations and even doctrines of demons. We will rethink and reacquaint ourselves with the Almighty directly from His Word. We will test our beliefs according to Scripture.   Father set a precedence in Genesis by calling His Creation by its name. We will study how YeHoVaH called people in the Bible, and us, by our names for instructing, warning, rebuking, and correcting.    You have been called!
