We live in a unique time in history, where many of God's promises have come alive because of Jesus's birth, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection. At the same time, the brokenness of the world and man continues to plague the earth. What we long for in that tension between the "already and not yet Kingdom" will dictate the victory and direction of our lives. Part 2: Waiting for Something

A significant aspect of Advent is anticipation, which inherently involves waiting. Waiting can be one of the most valuable opportunities for us to learn about godliness, maturity, and faith. Learning to wait on the Lord is essential for growth as a disciple of Jesus. The Kingdom of God is not only worth the wait, but there is also great value in the waiting itself. Part 2 of our Advent 2024 Sermon Series was titled "Waiting for Something."
