Uncle Angus encourages us to do a heart check. Proverbs 23:4. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose their soul. Where is your heart? What are you living for? We need to live for the things that truly count. God needs to be most important in our lives.
Mediator
Luke 23:34, Isaiah 53:12
Jesus is the Mediator in our lives, He is the Go Between, the Peacemaker. Luke 23:34. He is our Intercessor, if it were not for him dying for our sins, we would have no hope Isaiah 53:12. God will never let us down.
Rest
Exodus 33:14, Hebrews 13:5
People are tired, weary and stressed out because they are not spending time in the presence of the Lord. Exodus 33:14. He is the only One Who can give us rest, we will not find it anywhere else. Hebrews 13:5. We need to put God first and spend time with Him.
