Faith

Hebrews 11:6, Hebrews 11:1, 2 Corinthians 5:7

We need simple faith, faith that we can touch, feel and see, faith like potatoes. Hebrews 11:6. Uncle Angus heard this phrase from Peter Marshall, the Scottish preacher. It is by faith that we are saved, and it is by faith that we please the Lord. Hebrews 11:1. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Do we really trust Him?

Abide

John 15:7, Philippians 4:13

John 15:7. We need to abide in, and be in the presence of Almighty God, we cannot afford not to. Philippians 4:13. If we want to produce fruit, then we need to abide in the Vine. The best chapter of our lives is about to start as we abide in the Lord, we never need to think that our lives are over or that we are too old. Age is just a number. The best is yet to come. We need to put our hand up and say 'I am available Lord'.

Wellspring

Proverbs 16:22, Jeremiah 2:13

Proverbs 16:22. We need knowledge, understanding is a wellspring of life. We need to be humble and willing to learn no matter what age we are. Jeremiah 2:13. We must not forsake the Lord, He is our Wellspring of life. He gives us living water. It is so important that we look after our spiritual lives and guard our hearts.
