Today we are reminded that our tongues hold power - they have the power to build up and the power to break down. We choose how it is to be used.
James 3:6-8
"And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."

Hebrews 13:8. Deuteronomy 32:39. We need to understand and know in Whom we believe. Revelation 1:8. He is God, there is no other God. He is the great I Am. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus said, if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father. John 16:7. There is no other God.
Comfort His people
Isaiah 40:1
Isaiah 40:1. Jesus wants us to comfort those who are hurting. To comfort people we can't just quote scriptures to them and preach to them, we need to give them time, spend time with them because their hearts are broken. They are morning a lost one. Love them and weep with them.
