Angus encourages us to be obediant to the words of Jesus in the New Testiment. He prays for us to be able to forgive people who have hurt us, and move on in freedom.
Matthew 5:38-42
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away."

Hebrews 13:8. Deuteronomy 32:39. We need to understand and know in Whom we believe. Revelation 1:8. He is God, there is no other God. He is the great I Am. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus said, if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father. John 16:7. There is no other God.
Comfort His people
Isaiah 40:1
Isaiah 40:1. Jesus wants us to comfort those who are hurting. To comfort people we can't just quote scriptures to them and preach to them, we need to give them time, spend time with them because their hearts are broken. They are morning a lost one. Love them and weep with them.
