Exodus 20:12

Exodus 20:12. God commands us to honour our parents. This is the first commandment in the Bible that comes with a promise. Respect them, ask God to give you a love for them and be patient with them.

Circumstances

Romans 8:28

Romans 8:28. What are your circumstances today? God says that He works all things for the good for those who love Him. Where you spend your time and what you spend your time on is what determines your circumstances. If our circumstances find us in God, we shall find God in all our circumstances.

The power of prayer

Uncle Angus talks about the power of prayer and tells a story involving David Livingston, when God protected him and his group from being killed. He found out later that there had been people praying for him and the group at that exact time.

Alpha and Omega

Revelation 1:8, Matthew 6:33

Revelation 1:8. He is our All in All. If we have Jesus Christ, then we have everything. Don't spend your life chasing the wind, building up and empire that you will never enjoy. Riches are not always beneficial, in fact they can undo a person. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. Matthew 6:33. Seek Jesus Christ first and all else will be added unto you.
