Trust and obey

Who are we putting our trust in? If Jesus is not in control of our lives, then we are in trouble. 1 John 5:7. Jesus is the Word. Isaiah 26:3. If we will keep our eyes on Jesus, trusting in Him and hoping in Him, then He will give us His peace. We make mistakes when we don't obey God.

Confession

James 5:15–16

There is power in personal confession. James 5:15-16. If we confess our sins in the presence of others, there are witnesses, and an anointing and power comes over our lives. As they stand in agreement with our prayer, before Almighty God, we can be healed. 

Miracle

Hebrews 11:6, Acts 16:25–31, Matthew 11:28, Hebrews 11:1

Jesus is the Miracle Worker, we really need to believe Him for our miracle. A miracle cannot be explained in the natural because it is supernatural, it does not make sense. Hebrews 11:6. Acts 16:25-31. Matthew 11:28. Are we going to give up hope when we are in an impossible situation or are we going to trust in God for a miracle? Hebrews 11:1.

Self denial

Mark 8:34, Acts 9:15–16, Galatians 2:20

Pure love is all about self denial. Mark 8:34. The cross represents death and self denial. Paul the apostle along with many others, suffered greatly and went through so much for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Acts 9:15-16. Becoming a Christian does not mean that your problems will go away, in fact be prepared to pay a price. Galatians 2:20. Our biggest enemy is self.
