In this episode, Angus refers to Matthew 28 which tells us about the empty tomb. Fresh in their minds was the dreadful terror of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ which had taken place on the day before the Sabbath.

Now on the day after the Sabbath when the two Marys came to the tomb where He was laid, it was empty. Jesus was alive! He had risen from the dead as He promised! As they were running back to tell the other disciples, Jesus appeared before them and said, “Rejoice”.

Let us also rejoice because we serve a mighty, risen Lord who is the same yesterday, today and forever!
